Videoconferencing again!

This time we have been videoconferencing with some new friends at Diss Junior school. They read us some very nice poems!

Maddy made a multi-media presentation about the Victorian school with Caitlin. They added video and sounds to it and it was fab! Maddy is a special achiever for her good work.

Videoconferencing with our friends in France

We have been practising our emailing with our new friends in Darois near Dijon. Last week we also got to speak to them through videoconferencing! Sophie and Luke were special achievers because they were so confident and they spoke very clearly!

Elsi and Rohan were special achievers for their hard work and effort in our special assembly. Well done!

5/4B did an assembly for energy busters.There were 10 jobs to be covered.

Group 1
Thomas ,Thomas and Liam introduced the show.They had funny acting names ,light bulb guy, sparky and coalman.

Group 2

Oliver,Caitlin and Katie had the parts of Bob the builder,Dora the explorer and Fifi the flowertot.They were talking about fossil fuels, fossil fuels are coal, oil and natural gas.

Group 3

Georgia, Elise and Maddie played the parts of Miss Stannard,Elise Squirrell and Miss Blackburn.They had to talk about global warming and how wasting enrgy causes global warming.

Group 4
Courtney, Katie and Maddy played 3 mad scientists,Dr Goofy, Dr Weird and Dr Late. Along with their potions they had to talk about nuclear power. Katie also mentioned that uranium helps to make nuclear power.

Group 5
Rohan and Ellis talked about solar panals and wind turbines,they made posters and showed everybody the energy saving kit.

Group 6
Rebecca, Sophie and Elliott played the parts of Proffesor lightbulb and 2 presenters from newsround. They were talking about saving energy in schools.

Group 7
Declan, Owen and Charlie played the parts of James Bond Scooby Doo and the sheriff. Scooby Doo added something to a funny song, they were talking about S.O.K.C.W. (Switch off keep cool week).

Group 8

Elias , Tom and Olly had the parts of Captain energy, energy waster and energy saver. They were talking about heat.`

Group 9
Chloe, Elsi and Robert dressed up as objects wasting energy they also went and turned them off.

They were talking about saving energy at home.

Group 10

Emma, Luke and Zoe had the parts of a teacher and 2 news reporters.They did the conclusion.
